Google has announced the experimental launch of an ultra-high speed broadband network. Currently looking for volunteer communities to trial Google Fiber, Google claims that the system will deliver Internet access 100 times faster than currently available options. Namely, 1 gigabit per second.
Gartner has released a report entitled “Gartner’s Top Predictions for IT Organizations and Users, 2010 and Beyond: A New Balance.” Besides being a long title, the report goes long on some interesting trends analysis.
I’ve used TweetDeck for more than a year now. I dig it. Today I discovered that my install hasn’t been updated in some unknown period of time. I decided to manually update the version and, apparently, a LOT has happened since my last refresh. If you haven’t started using TweetDeck yet (or updated for awhile), now’s the time to jump in.
This is not another prophetic or proselytizing iPad post. This isn’t another indulgent rave about my favorite brand on the planet. This is, rather, an examination of what a sustained brand loyalty effort can foster – before and after purchase. (Coincidentally, there are few more shining examples than Apple.)
